Sharp offers up 60, 70, and 80-inch TVs and interactive displays at CES 2012

    \n\tAt CES 2012, Sharp doubled down on big displays. The company unveiled an 80-inch meeting room display, ultra-thin, ultra-light TVs you can hang almost anywhere, and a 2012 TV line-up that includes 20 60-inch or larger TVs.

    \n\tCompanies can purchase the AQUAS Board alone or bundled with a Compact Whiteboard PC (running Windows 7) and rolling floor stand. When combined with the PC, the AQUAS Board can act as a touchscreen video whiteboard, which works with both your finger or a stylus. Add an HD camera and software such as  WebEx, GoToMeeting, or Skype and you have an HD video conferencing system.

    \n\tSharp will continue its push to sell TVs beyond 60 inches with its 2012 line of AQUAS televisions. The Sharp LC-80LE844U 80-inch (80-inch diagonal) class AQUOS 3D LED TV offers more than double the screen area of a 55-inch TV.

    \n\tSharp’s Freestyle concept TVs are ultra-thin, ultra-light LED TVs designed to  be placed nearly anywhere and easily moved between rooms. Models walked around the conference room carrying 20-, 32-, 40-inch models. the TV receive HD video through WiFi and the 20-inch model weighs 5.5 pounds and can run off a battery.

This service includes access to online user guides, live tech support, and even loaner TVs during repairs. If your TV is connected to the Internet (and what Interactive TV isn’t these days), technicians can even remote into the TV to diagnose and fix problems.
