Funny a company feels the way I do about on-screen/virtual keyboards. Don't really care for them as the take away from the viewable content on the screen. This device makes the iphone look a lot like the HTC TouchPro 2 but a little thicker.
I hate the fact that manufactures scrapped the physical sliding qwerty keyboard to imitate the iphone and go on-screen only. IMO that was the dumbest thing they could have done. Let apple do apple and all the rest (HTC) do HTC and make originality come back. If the devices stay in the 3"-4" screens, the physical sliding keyboard is the key. If the 5" screen no mobile devices become the normal, like I predict when Dell launched the Streak 5, then on screen qwerty keyboards would be ok.
I got slammed for having a "Big A$$" mobile phone, then when Dell pulled the plug on it and it became hard to get one, every one wanted one. Now the Samsung Note is out and backed/branded by att (dell streak was but not branded att), that seems to be a big hit.
Any way, I still prefer a qwerty sliding keyboard to just an on-screen one. Bring the sliding keyboard back. Why not have the best of both worlds, physical and virtual.
