10th Suicide at Foxconn, China

Foxconn, the Taiwanese OEM that builds for folks like Apple and Dell, doesn’t seem too talented at preventing younger employees from falling off office and dorm roofs or jumping out of windows to their deaths. One employee even managed to slash himself with a knife four times before jumping.

There have been eight deaths out of 10 known suicide attempts this year alone.

Taiwanese employers have long had a bad reputation on the Mainland.
