3 locations and domain set up

I have three locations and have just been hired on here.

Should these locations all be part of one domain or three seperate domains?

We will be hosting exchange at the primary location and data will be passed back and forth between all locations.

Is there are reason to do a 3 domain trusting model instead of 1 domain?
