abnormal multi loading

I am running Windows 2000 server that is supporting over 150 stations. The problem is when i log on the computer continues logging on and on. I suspect it creates many instances. Now i cant administer anything because when i see the desktop it starts loging again and again. But applications are running well from work stations. please help
