about REMOTE DATA CONTROL

i am trying to access my database from an SQL Server. how do i access it using the remote data control and remote data objects in Visual Basic 6.0? i can view the database from the visual data manager but i can’t link the fields to my textboxes. what is the correct connect string for that?
