Access 2000: Network Connection Error

When working in Access 2k over a period of hours I eventually get VBA modules that fail and give a “Network Connection Error”. Asking the reason for this I’ve been pointed at Norton Antivirus being the cause (now eliminated), the use of DAO objects and copying between modules. Nothing yet has resolved the problem, other than taking regular backups of my work (several times a day just in case).

It does appear to be related to the amount of work I do with VBA in any one block of time. Put in simple terms, does it keep track of what its doing in some way and get overloaded?
