Access 97 e-mail to Lotus Notes R5

I would like to have my access database send e-mail messages directly to our Lotus note e-mail sever. We our database currently sends e-mail to OutLook Express and then it sends the email our Lotus notes server. I want to cut out the middle man and do this in code on the Access database.
