Access 97 report paper size problem

One of my clients uses Access 97 on a Windows XP computer. Some of the reports are to be printed on custom size paper. Although the size of the page for the report and the size of the paper in the printer settings are correct, when doing a preview or when printing, the size of the paper remains A4, and 2 reports are appear on a page.
Is there something I am missing ? Is this a bug ? Is there a way around it ?
