Access 97 Reports

I am trying to produce one report by combining info from two tables in a one-to-many relationship. I used a Report with a subReport. When the record in the report has no related records in the subReport a large blank spave is printed where the subReport would have been printed. Is there any way to avoid this. Your info is truly appreciated. Thank You.
