Access DB and HTML…Access Reports

Hello, i have two questions. First, i created an HTML link to an Access 97 .mdb file. When the link is clicked, the DB is opened twice. I was wondering if anyone has encountered this problem or knows how to resolve it?

Also, i was wondering ifanyone knows how to create a report in Access, but instead of having record going from left to right in rows, have the records going up and down in columns…keep in mind that i am working with an enormous amount of data.
