Access Function for Feet & Inches.

Access Function for coverting Feet & Inches to a number. I have one for Excel (Cinches & Cfeet), but it does not work well in access. How can I get, easily, to add and average Ft. Inches, & Fractions? e.g. from 21′ 11 3/4″ = 263.75
