ActiveX Detection — HELP!

I’ve been able to find some VB and JS to detect whether AX is available, but I can’t find a damn thing about detecting whether or not it is ENABLED.

I want to use this to see if I can run a control or if I have to ask them to turn AX on in their browsers.

Anyone have any ideas??
