add 2000 server to 2003 domain

I have a win2003 domain and a seperate win2000 server in it’s own workgroup. the application on the win2000 server will not run on 2003 so I cant upgrade.

Am I able to join the win2000 server to the win 2003 domain and how easy or difficult is it.
