Adding system date & time to file name

I am trying to copy a file from one location to a backup folder for historical purposes and I need to append the system date and time to the file name using vbscript. Trying to do this from windows desktop using a script file, not from inside of a program like word or excel. Any help would be great. Thanks much. Rick.
