Administrator password and autologon changes for multiple PCs on network

by xcheck76 . Updated 11 years, 8 months ago

I have a number of remote sites where I need to change admin passwords on all PCs on the local network at a certain interval. I’m trying to streamline the process as much as I can while still making the changes remotely. The roadblock I’m running into is that each of the PCs, because of other software running on them, needs to be able to autologon to the Administrator account. I’ve been able to use the PsPasswd tool (from the Sysinternals suite) to change passwords on all machines on the network from a single PC with no problem. However, I have not found a way to make the Autologon tool (Sysinternals) work in the same fashion.
If I can avoid having to connect to each individual machine, and instead take care of each site from just one PC, it would save me a ton of time and headaches. Anyone know of a good way to pull this off, or am I stuck with what I’ve got? Thanks in advance for any advice!
