AI Meeting Tools – Are They Actually Useful?

by jk.heureuxit . Updated 1 month, 1 week ago

I’ve been exploring AI Meeting Tools lately, and I’m curious how others are using them in real work scenarios.

From what I’ve seen, these tools are mainly designed to help with things like meeting summaries, note-taking, action items, and sometimes even live suggestions during discussions. For people who attend back-to-back meetings, this can save a lot of mental effort and reduce missed details.

One interesting angle is how some platforms are extending beyond meetings into real-time support. The idea of live, structured guidance during high-pressure conversations feels very relevant to meetings as well—especially client calls, stakeholder discussions, or technical reviews where clarity really matters.

Personally, I think AI Meeting Tools are most valuable when they:

Reduce manual note-taking

Help structure follow-ups clearly

Improve focus during live conversations

I’m still testing different options, so I’d like to hear from others here:

Which AI meeting tools are you using?

Do they actually improve productivity, or do they feel distracting?

Looking forward to real experiences rather than marketing claims.
