Alert on Network Disonnections

Is it possible that i get a sound alert if my windows detects that a network cable is unplugged, implying that i have lost connectivity to the internet. I have only 1 onboard NIC.

Any method will do (vba scripting, powershell, scheduling or 3rd party software), so long as it works.
