In January I purchaces Webroot’s Spy Sweeper Enterprise Edition and over the last three months I’ve been deploying it to my users. My question is this, how many of you have decided on buying something to control spyware and such or who’s just going to go with the “free” stuff?
I like the Spy Sweeper, its still got a few bugs to work out but overall it’s ok. I would still rather my techs keep themselves current on the free more robust tools that are available for those threats that are just too hard to get rid of. We are also using the Microsoft Anti Spyware on about 100 workstations with the Webroot application, this is like a tag team, because all of my experience tells me to use two versions that will catch what the other doesn’t.
Anyway, I’d like to here from anyone else and how you are addressing this problem. Thanks.
