Anyone else notice that IE11 doesn’t let you set other search engines?

Currently tried this on two PCs running IE11 (one Windows 7 and one Windows 8).
None of the add-ons for search engine work, regardless if you try via the MS site.
Only way I could override this was to download the Google Toolbar and Ask Toolbar, which adds them as search engine options and then kill all the extra bloatware (the toolbars themselves).
