Anyone with experience with ImageQuant v1.4?

One of our lab departments uses this software to analyze phosphoric scans of blood particles.

When loading an image to the program, it freezes right away with “IQ is out of memory”

I guess they’ve had luck reducing virtual memory to 256-511 in the past. As well as running compatibility for xp sp3. Even with these adjustments, it will still freeze up. At best the program will allow you to load an image, but when magnifying it (they need 200%) it freezes still.

I am running windows 7 x32, AMD athlon, and 4 GB of RAM. I’ve read in other places that IQ does not support RAM over 1 GB.

Anyone experience this proble, before?
