Application hanging

Hi..I am using Html 5.i have a gauge usercontrol..which showing datas correctly when my datas are small(i.e 100 t0 1000)..but it gets crashed when datas becomes large (i.e 2000 to 5000)..the interval are given by dividing by 10 the max values of what i am getting.. the error i am getting “A script on this page causing web browser to run slow”..please any one suggest me to resolve this issue..thanks in advance…
