Application Quits with type 2 error

I’m running a Mac OS 8.5 with Outlook
Express 5.02. Things were OK, but now
it’s having problems. I can connect via
dial up to Earthlink. I’m able to browse the
Internet.

Problem occurs with Outlook Express. It
opens OK and all the e-mail is there.
When I try to do a Send/Receive All,
Outlook Express unexpectedly quits with an
error type 2.

I trashed the preference file – still have
same problem.

Any thoughts?
