Are there any recommended educational software for Macs?

Hi everyone, first time poster.

I just purchased a few Macs for my school’s library and was wondering if there is any “must have” software that can be used for educational purposes, could be games, applications that help the student with reading, math, history or any other subject. The computers will be accessed by H.S students with low level reading and math scores. Also the applications cannot record video or audio and must not be internet connection dependent.
