ASP / IIS Setup

I am diving into the world of ASP, and I am having problems executing the simplest ASP script. I have a Windows 2000 Professional system and all services seem to be started and working. IIS and PWM are active, and yet I am unable to locate the http://localhost/ page when attempting to execute the page from the browser directly. Opening my script with FrontPage and executing it only produces the HTML output without executing the VBS code. I also have Oracle8i installed and when active, the localhost address points to one of their documentation pages. Can you help in pointing out what I may be missing in my configuration?
