Auto Clear of Event Logs

Are there any batch files or 3rd programs out there that I can use to clean out my event logs and perhaps save them to text files daily (scheduled through 3rd party GUI or “at” of course). I suppose that I could write a keybaord/mouse macro to do the job, but I’d rather use something that someone can stand by and say that it works well.
