Automated saving your ERD to FAT

by shanghai sam . Updated 25 years, 11 months ago

When setting up your NT partions. Create a 400+ mb partion in FAT instead of NTFS. Copy the i386 cabs to it. Would it be possible to have your ERD save an update to this FAT partion weekly? if your computer file becames corupted,
boot-up with a dosboot disk. Save the ERD and repair from there? If this would be possible how would you write a script to save the ERD info to this drive? I’m fairly new to Nt administrating and I’ve been reading your articals
(which have been great!) the one artical about saving your ERD was very informing but this may take it to the next step, If its possible.
Thank you
