automatic drive mapping when login

How do I make Mac OS 9 and OSX do auto drive mapping when a user logon to a Mac OS9 computer ?
This is not the Home drive ? We have Mac OSX 10.2.8 servers. Users authenticate and get their home drive, but if they need to go to a different drive ( such as a shared group folder on another Mac OSX server ) they need to go to Chooser, connect to server, type in IP address and type in SMB……etc. Is there a way that I can setup for them ( such as login script in the Windows world ), may be they can just click on an icon and get to the other drive ?
