Automatic shutdowns of all work stations

by whatme? . Updated 25 years, 9 months ago

I asked this once before but did not get the response I needed. I need to SHUT DOWN ALL work stations on a LAN at 4:00 pm every aft. and 9:00am every sat and sun. The computers all run winnt4 and are all able to power off.
The server- Win NT server4 and resource kit but the schedule software in it is too memory hungry and I have to enter each and every computer. Is there a better way? or am I just beating my head against the wall.
DON’t tell me to go to each workstation and enter commands. NO way!
Don’t reccommend 3rd party software unless it is cheap or free! I’ve paid too much now.
Don’t tell me to switch operating systems…. same reason
Microsoft MUST have a way to shut down all stations at once…. I would think.

Thanks
