Automating FTP from AS/400

I am using FTP to transfer files from various platforms (AIX, NT, Windows, UNIX) to OS/400. I would like to atutomate the process a bit more completely than it currently functions. At the end of each transfer session, an interactive prompt is generated by FTP that asks the user to “Press Enter to terminate this session”. Is there a way I can disable this ?
