Backup Software

2.7 x2 CPU
4gb RAM

After my recent external Hard drive crash i was wondering if somebody could suggest a good backup software that i could schedule to backup pics and scanned documents to DVD.

I would prefer it not save the files in some 3rd party file format that has to be “decrypted” or extracted by the same software it was created with. i’ve gotten burned on this too. created a windows backup one time and sure enough it got corrupt somehow.. so i had a backup and it still didn’t help me.
