Benchmarking Network Throughput & DNS.

Hi,

I need to
1. Benchmark a network of 30 XP clients and 2k3 domain.
2. Verify if DNS is properly setup?

Can anyone advise on how go about?
Any utilities preferably freewares?

Thanks
Tanmay.
