We recently migrated our multi-domain webserver from a unix platform to a windows 2000 server platform running Internet Information Server version 5.0
The tracking software we used earlier was written specifically for unix and won’t work here. OurISP – we have a co-location/parked server solution – uses Cold Fusion modules for shared tracking programs, but that would involve an expensive investment in Cold Fusion server and they don’t even know if it will work under windows 2000.
I am not interested in a third party solution which sends visitor info from our server to another server providing tracking.
Also, we are not using Front Page in our organization, all websites are created and maintained using Allaire Homesite and cgi programming is provided through Perl 5.0 scripts written for Windows NT.
The ideal program would allow for:
– our customers to log in via a browser interface and view visitor logs to their site based on content, visitor identity and time/date. The ability to generate graphs
