Best way to update a WordPerf 5.2 Macro

I have a WordPerfect 5.2 macro that is used multiple times daily. It merely brings up several dialog boxes that build a one-page document that is faxed when completed. Other boxes are 98SE, and I must abandon having to maintain a Win 3.1 platform just to run this legacy app. Should I try to rebuild it in Word or in something like Visual Basic?
