Bitlocker encrypted drive…freezing

I have encrypted my laptop Drive e using bitlocker….but because of some issue the process of encryption stuck at half way….now…the problem is….when…I open drive e using the key…..my PC freezes …..and I can’t do anything on it …
Any one who can help..
