Blurry Print out of slide Master Background in PowerPoint Presentation 2007

i am inserting an .jpeg image as slide master background in MS Power Point 2007. it all looks fine on the computer system. but when i take print out of the presentation, the slide master background become blurry(pixelated), and if i insert a picture in my slide, no issue lies with print out. so as per me the problem lies when an image is used as background on whole prsentation.
on the other hand if i open the same presentation in Power Point 2003 and take print out it is fine.
does the problem lies with .pptx?
i do not know where is the problem?
anyone can help me out from this problem. i am not even finding the solution on the internet.
plz help me out.
