C# book to recommend?

by mike@ihs . Updated 23 years, 2 months ago

Hi,

I’m looking for good, well-written and complete C# book(s). I’ve been looking around and read all sorts of reviews. I have programming experience in Javascript, a bit of VB and a bit of C, but I need to get into in-depth C# programming for .NET. I need a book that is for beginners to intermediate, which is a thorough learning book. I want a book that clearly and extensively explains the C# language, and it’s integration with .NET If it could cover database programming (ADO.NET) it would be even better!

I would appreciate any feedback!
Thanks!
