C++ for AP Course

Hi there!

I’m taking the Advanced Placement Computer Science A exam (from the collegeboard) and the book I’m using says that you can use Microsoft Visual C++ 5.0 or 6.0. I was wondering if I could use Visual C++ .NET instead, if it would be verydifferent, because its extremely difficult to find a copy of C++ 6 or 5 where I live.
