Can a disk of a smaller size be “cloned” to a disk of a larger size?

I am upgrading from a 120Gb ATA HD to a 2T WD Caviar Black SATA. The problem is that I have just finished reformatting and reinstalling the majority of my software on the 120Gb disk. Is there any way to avoid having to do this all over again on the 2T disk?
