Can a home wireless printer work when connected via VPN to office network?

I’ve had two remote user’s that were set up with HP Wireless printers and both of them are unable to print when connected via VPN. When off of VPN printer works fine.

Printer also works when connected via USB cable.

Can VPN or Printer be configured to work together?
