CAN I USE MY PDF’S FILES IN A KINDLE DEVICE?

I have already a thousdans of ebooks in my Hard drive sore, and I want to know how can put this in Kindle device, because I tried to do in kindle for mac software and isn’t possible!, can you help to me to decide?
