Can you please guide us in developing our final year project of B.E.I.T?

Sir,
We are the students B.E.I.T of Mumbai university,India.
We are developing a project on frauds involved in online credit card transactions.
We have no proper guidance.We don’t even know what resources we will require.We don’t have any new idea to implement in our project.What new things we can add to current fraud detection systems?
We are comfortable in using Java.Can you please guide us in our project?
