Cannot connect via a VPN

I cannot connect clients to the network through a VPN setup. Here are the details of the network configuration:

HP Netserver (standard equipment) running NT 4.0 with SP6a. It is the PDC. It has one NIC (Intel); Class C IP address(192.168.254.1); running IP & NetBUEI protocols. RAS installed and configured to answer only. PPTP set up with 5 connections.

There are 4 WIN95 PC’s on the network. IP addresses are assigned by DHCP server (see below).

Everything is connected thru a standard unmanaged 8 port hub.

The DSL Router is a FlowPoint 255 connected to the hub and the Internet; External IP is fixed and internal IP is 192.168.254.254. It is set up as the DHCP server and clients on the network function properly (and successfully connect to the internet).

The router is configured to pass packets that match the profile Protocol TCP port 1732 or Protocol #47 (GRE) on all ports, thru the router to the internal IP address of the NT server.
