Cannot Delete File, Name Too Long

I am deleting a few users folder and I am getting this error message “Cannot Delete file: The filename you specified is invalid or too long. Specify a different filename”. These files are in the User home directory, Windows, Temporary Internet Files. I tried changing the file name but it won’t let me and it does not give me any error. I don’t want to reformat the Drive.
