Cannot delete the file on NT4

I am running NT4 SP6. I am trying to delete this one file but I always get the message: “Cannot delete ‘filename’: The parameter is incorrect.” I’ve tried restarting the system, stopping all services, taking an ownership of that file and directorynothing works. I am also logged in as Domain Admin.
