can’t change a drive letter

I have recently ghosted my hard disk onto another hard disk, and When i try to boot off the ghosted copy, it won’t let me. I have narrowed it down to an incorrect drive letter, the ghosted copy being on drive D. I have tryed to change it through the computer manager, but that didnt work. please help me
