Can’t connect to HP DesignJet T610

Hello All, I am having trouble installing a DesignJet T610 to users via the network. It is network-capable, I do have the latest and associated W7 drivers (as the machines are W7Pro 64 or 32 bit). It seems like a network communication error … I can and can’t ping the printer even though it has been assigned an ip. Sometimes it goes through other times it starts to ping then times out then picks up the ping again. Thank you to all!!! Best site.
