Cant connect to Novell server in win98

I had a workstation with windows 95. I was connecting fine to a Novell 4.11 network (novell client 32).

I installed windows 98 on this machine and now it cant login to the network.

I tried the upgrade procedure over 95 (renaming win.com and selecting the install to the windows directory.) Noe luck. I then reformatted the HD and did a clean install of win 98. Again no luck.

Any sugestions?
