Can’t Edit Text in Outlook 2007

Have one user out of many that can’t use mouse cursor or keyboard arrows to click into text she has already entered so she can correct or add something. She can backspace to the point and start typing but that’s it. I think I’ve been through every checkbox on editing options but something isn’t right. She can use the cursor in a Word 2007 document just fine but not in a new email.
I’d appreciate ANY ideas!
