Certification procedure for apps

I’ve been tasked with establishing a Certification procedure for applications supported and being migrated into the production environment within my company. This is quality assurance I guess covering all components moving into production. My group has ‘ownership’ of the integration test environment associated test scripts processes and procedures. Any help in the way of comments, referals to books, web sites or documents etc would be most appreciated ……..
